After graduating with honors in History and Film & Media studies from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2007, I began my career working for the financing and production entity, Sandbar Pictures. At Sandbar Pictures, I associate produced the documentary WHIZ KIDS and worked as a production coordinator on AND SOON THE DARKNESS, starring Amber Heard and Odette Yustman, a remake of the atmospheric British Thriller by the same name. It is during this time that I began Mirar Productions.
After leaving Hollywood, I spent a year at Google in their Maps division and was part of the team that unveiled a new dataset for the entire United States.
I relocated to Chicago with my family in the summer of 2010 to support my wife as she began medical school. This move coincided with the success of Mirar and a decision to expand the company to the Chicagoland area.
Last year I released my first book and I have been working on the documentary YOURS IN THE DUST, on Burning Man, for the last couple years. Check out the trailer.Cake Vendor
