On May 11th, 2012, Alpha Kappa Psi DePaul University hosted a fashion show at the Chicago Cultural Center. A Posh Production was on hand to help out with this fun event!
The theme of the fashion show was “Heaven and Hell,” so we provided spot lighting so guests could see the models strut their stuff on the catwalk. We also did a ceiling wash that slowly faded from amber, to red, to purple, to blue, going perfectly with the event’s look. Using the ceiling wash gave off enough light to fill the entire room without having to use the house lights. It also allowed us to accent the great architectural points of the ceiling at the Chicago Cultural Center.
In addition to the lighting, we provided a black, 24 foot fabric backdrop for the back of the catwalk. Staff that assisted on this project included Curtis Roff, Wil Lasko and Matt Windsor.
