Use Uplighting to Transform Your Venue

Wedding Uplighting | Chicago, IL

Uplighting at Chicago Westin Michigan Avenue

Wedding Uplighting

Its your wedding, and your reception is in one of the hundreds of banquet halls around Chicago. How do you transform this space into that magical wedding reception that you’ve been dreaming of? Rather, how do you do it on a budget? Uplighting! This type of lighting is great for transforming any plain old banquet hall room into something amazing. The key is to choose vibrant colors – magenta, red, or purple look amazing in pictures and create beautiful effects. These lights can even be programmed to fade into another color, having the colors gradually change throughout the event, or even respond to the music during the dancing portion of the night.

Uplights require no special poles or apparatus to set up. They are placed around the perimeter of the room, and point upward toward the wall and ceiling. The most technologically advanced uplights are wireless, and utilize LED lights. These types are cool to touch, and can be programmed to almost any color you can imagine.
