This weekend, Chicago DJ Matt W of A Posh Production was the master of ceremony, lighting specialist, and DJ for Brian and Monica Merker’s wedding at The Carleton in Oak Park. This wedding was particularly special because it was infused with Mexican as well as American wedding traditions. The event began with cocktail hour, which was also provided by A Posh Production. Shortly after cocktail and before dinner, there were some very unique toasts and announcements by the best man, maid of honor, as well as the bride and groom. The bride actually gave her thanks to her guests in Spanish, which made for a very memorable moment.   Chicago DJ Matt W kicked off the night with popular Mexican wedding and dance songs that the whole wedding loved to party to. The dance floor was lit up with luminous and exciting colors also brought by A Posh Production. The dance floor was packed all night at this wedding! The guests got a little crazy at this event, even breaking out a few horse masks to dance around in. It was a very hilarious sight to see the bride and groom sharing a dance with horse heads (see picture below!) No matter what kind of traditional (or nontraditional!)
